Providing Liquidity with Custom Price Ranges

When you provide liquidity via the Repl liquidity page, it automatically wraps your pFIL and FIL to wpFIL and wFIL respectively, before depositing them into the underlying wFIL/wpFIL pool. Thus, when providing liquidity with custom price ranges on 3rd Party Tools like OkuTrade, you are required to manually wrap your pFIL and FIL. First head over to the Repl wrap page to wrap your desired amounts of pFIL and FIL.

Next, head over to OkuTrade front end of the Uniswap V3 pool.

On the left pane, input a price range your would like to provide liquidity over wrapped FIL (WFIL) and Wrapped pFIL (wpFIL). WFIL is the ERC-20 token used to represent the native FIL currency. On the other hand, each wpFIL represents a wrapped pFIL token. As explained in the previous section, wpFIL and WFIL are used in the DEX pool to facilitate the swaps, ensuring that DEX liquidity providers continue to receive pFIL distributed rewards.

Alternatively, click the drop down menu to provide a certain percentage of range from the current prices. The lower the percentage, the more concentrated your liquidity becomes (i.e. you earn higher fees from it) However, if the price of wFIL/wpFIL falls outside of the specified range, you do not earn any fees.

Enter the amount of wpFIL or WFIL tokens you would like to deploy, and click “Deploy Position”

If you would like to make your decision in terms of pFIL, you can calculate the amount of wpFIL in the following manner. Head to the Repl Swap page and click on the drop down button. At the bottom, you can calculate the relationship between wpFIL and pFIL. According to the image below, if you would like to provide 100 pFIL worth of liquidity, it would amount to 100/1.131 = 88.4 wpFIL.

Similarly, in terms of price, if you would like to provide liquidity across a pFIL price range of 0.75 FIL to 0.95 FIL, that would correspond to a wpFIL price range of 0.85 wFIL and 1.074 wFIL. This is calculated by 0.75/(1/1.131) = 0.85 and 0.95/(1/1.131) = 1.074 respectively.

You can also monitor all your positions, fees earned, and whether they are in or out of range.
